Well, not quite. I’m back at work, I haven’t quite disappeared. I’ve currently lost my motivation (if you see a small pink thing running around on the floor that looks like a little “m”, that might be it — don’t walk into it, you’ll hit it!) for coding temporarily, as I’m having to work on the website for the place I work, and I can only take so much coding at a time.
I will be back, and I’m trying to do the inspirational thing (i.e. What to do next) and keep the bug tracker up-to-date.
I have been trying to fiddle with Cygwin/Curses on windows, seeing if I can get a frozen/py2exe’d version out using that, without much success. I have got a working version of CR in Cygwin, but there are a few peculiarities — I can’t turn the cursor off completely (it doesn’t like cursor calls), for example — but it does run a lot faster than Console (which runs faster than WConIO — so I’ll probably drop that option). I can’t really ask people to install Cygwin/Python just for CyberRogue though.
It does however have the benefit of a (mostly) working curses in windows, so I can at least do cursory testing.
See you on the flipside.
