The orig­i­nal plan was to use a D10 based sys­tem. In par­tic­u­lar, Inter­lock, the sys­tem behind Cyber­Punk 2020. Unfor­tu­nately, it’s gone the way of the dodo — enter Fuzion. Still by R. Tal­so­rian games, but now runs CyberPunk203X, Mek­ton Z, Bub­blegum Cri­sis, and so on…

One nice thing about Fuzion is that it can use 3D6 instead. “Wahey,” says I, “I get to mess with the Bell Curve!”

So, Fuzion it is, with tweaks, 3D6, and I can use Mek­ton Z MTS to make weapons (with dice rolling, none of this “fixed dam­age” rub­bish — if I don’t decide to try and use some­thing like Atomik WAR! as well)
